Mindy Gledhill doesn’t
know what it means to quit. With all the odds mounted against
her, Mindy has pushed forward her entire life with a dream
of being a singer and a songwriter. A desire to perform and
express herself through music has kept her going, even when
teachers and friends were less than supportive. Mindy’s
perseverance and dedication is now paying off. In September
2002, Mindy’s skills as a songwriter were noticed by
Excel Entertainment Group's president Jeff Simpson and noted
songwriter / performer / producer Kenneth Cope. Simpson and
Cope immediately started working with Mindy, grooming her for
an eventual album release with Excel’s inspirational
label Lumen Records.
